These two resorts on St. Pete Beach in Florida might be just the place for your family to chill out and have fun this summer. The staff is CARD (Centre for Autism and Related Disabilities) certified, so they’re versed on how to help you have a great autism-friendly vacation. The resorts offer an activities club for kids, lots of pools and, for those on special diets, gluten-free foods. Plus, their safety kits, which are equipped with items like corner cushions for tables and hanging door alarms, help keep your sweetie protected. Awesome!

This town wants you and your child with ASD to have an easy and epic getaway. In January 2016, they signed a proclamation to make the family beachside area the first autism-friendly vacation destination. 3. Cruise with Royal Caribbean
Ahoy, Matey: If sailing away this summer seems like your speed, check out Royal Caribbean. A couple of years ago, they were named the first autism-friendly vacation cruise line. Their youth staff receives ASD training, families get priority check-in, there are sensory-friendly movies and toys and food options for special diets.
