Event Details

Join BCBAs Dr. Anika Hoybjerg and Casey Barron, for an in-depth CEU event exploring how comprehensive assessment practices can drive truly individualized and impactful interventions for individuals with autism. This session will introduce participants to the Meaningful Outcomes Treatment & Assessment Scale (MOTAS) — a criterion-referenced tool designed to prioritize personal growth, adaptive progress, and family-centered goals.

They will provide a practical overview of the MOTAS framework and discuss how to use it to design and refine programming that respects each individual’s unique developmental trajectory. In addition to a detailed look at MOTAS, the session will also explore best practices in assessment for learners with autism, with a focus on aligning assessment tools with real-world outcomes.

This CEU is ideal for BCBAs and clinicians looking to enhance their assessment approach, select tools that reflect individual and family values, and ensure programming leads to meaningful, sustainable change.

Attendees will earn 1 Learning CEU applicable for ACE, QABA, and IBAO certifications.
