Join us for an engaging and practical CEU event on Skills-Based Treatment (SBT)—a compassionate and evidence-based approach to addressing challenging behaviors. This session will provide an in-depth look at how SBT fosters functional communication, self-regulation, and independence while reducing problem behaviors.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Define and Identify Anxiety in Learners – Recognize the signs and symptoms of anxiety in individuals with co-occurring behavioral concerns and understand its impact on behavior.
  2. Analyze the Function of Anxiety-Driven Behaviors – Utilize functional assessment strategies to determine how anxiety contributes to challenging behaviors and interferes with learning and social interactions.
  3. Apply Behavior Analytic Strategies to Support Individuals with Anxiety – Implement evidence-based interventions, including antecedent modifications, reinforcement strategies, and skill-building techniques to reduce anxiety-driven behaviors.

This training is designed for BCBAs, behavior therapists, educators, and other professionals working with individuals who exhibit challenging behaviors. Whether you’re new to SBT or looking to refine your approach, this session will equip you with the tools to create meaningful and lasting behavior change.
